About Indoamerica

Indoamérica Technological University is an Ecuadorian higher education institution that undertook an ambitious digital transformation process. With a diversity of degree programs and heterogeneous student profiles, the university decided to migrate to online learning, adopting a modular academic model that required structured and effective resources to support its students.

The Challenges

Indoamérica University of Technology decided to migrate to online learning with a modular academic model, but faced critical barriers: diversity of profiles, lack of digital standards, and limited capacity to virtualize at scale. They needed a strategic partner that combined experience, clear methodology, and speed of execution.

Institutional heterogeneity and diversity

Wide diversity of majors and student profiles with varying levels of digital familiarity, making a unified approach difficult.

Lack of digital standards

There was no clear line in the design of digital educational materials, nor was there visual and pedagogical consistency in virtual environments. This led to disparate learning experiences and made it difficult to build a solid institutional identity in the online modality.

Limited production capacity

The institution did not have the internal resources or operational capacity to develop digital content on a large scale and within the timeframes required by the new modular academic model. Speed of delivery was required without compromising quality.

The Solution

Griky became the strategic partner of the Indoamérica Technological University for its virtualization process. With proven experience in Ecuadorian institutions, Griky worked hand in hand with local experts to adapt the content to the national reality and the needs of each degree program.

Its technological platform allowed for the efficient management of each course's development, while its clear methodology ensured step-by-step support from instructional design to implementation in virtual classrooms.

This made it possible to meet the deadlines required by the new modular academic model without sacrificing quality or institutional consistency.

Strategic actions implemented

The micro-credentialing strategy has been implemented progressively and strategically:

Micro-virtualization of subjects using structured methodology

Griky developed a subject-by-subject virtualization process, ensuring that each course met consistent pedagogical and quality standards. This approach allowed for orderly and scalable progress, adapting to the timing of the modular academic model.

Collaboration with local experts to contextualize content

We worked directly with university professors and specialists to adapt the materials to the Ecuadorian context and the specific characteristics of each degree program. This ensured that the content was relevant and aligned with the needs of the local labor market.

Design of virtual classrooms with institutional identity

Griky created visually consistent learning environments aligned with the university's image. Classrooms were designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, significantly improving the student experience.

Efficient technological management of the process

Through its platform, Griky facilitated the monitoring and control of each stage of the project, from planning to final delivery. This allowed visibility of progress to be maintained and deadlines to be met.

Impacted Results and Indicators

The partnership between Indoamérica Technological University and Griky generated tangible results that transformed the way the institution approaches online education, positively impacting students, teachers, and academic operations as a whole.

1

Virtualization of a large number of subjects in a short period of time

Griky enabled the agile scaling of virtual course production, meeting the deadlines required by the modular academic model without compromising content quality.

2

High-quality digital materials with pedagogical and visual consistency

Each resource developed followed clear instructional design guidelines, ensuring a consistent and professional learning experience across all subjects.

3

Promoting teaching and technological innovation

The project opened up new possibilities for teachers to explore innovative methodologies and become familiar with cutting-edge digital tools.

4

Greater institutional understanding of the scope of digital products

The university developed a clearer vision of the potential of virtual resources, facilitating strategic decision-making for future initiatives.

5

Promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools

Practices and guidelines were incorporated to leverage AI ethically and effectively in the educational process, preparing the institution for the challenges of the future.

Griky met all the criteria established by the University: experience in higher education institutions, a focus on working with local experts to contextualize content, use of technology for efficient process management, and a clear proposal in terms of support and methodology. Over time, a relationship based on trust was established, underpinned by the quality of the products and methodological clarity.

Rector, Indoamérica

We used to make all the content from scratch, but it was inefficient and time consuming. Now, with Griky, we have content repositories that grow and adapt continuously. It allows us to customize them and adjust them to our curriculum needs without having to build everything from scratch every time.
